Join Faena Rose & Zoë Buckman for an illuminating conversation about her practice, her life, and the change she hopes to achieve through her art.
British born, Brooklyn based artist Zoë Buckman makes work that fuses softness and strength: embroidered vintage linens, neon, and boxing glove iconography to examine femininity, intimacy, memory, and belonging. Her public art includes Champ, a 40+ foot rotating neon sculpture on the Sunset Strip, and MENDED, a Times Square “Midnight Moment” takeover. Her pieces are held by major institutions including the Whitney Museum of American Art. Drawing on a practice that spans sculpture, textiles, photography, ceramics, and painting, Buckman approaches personal history as a site of collective resonance.
